Interviews are the driving force that tell a story on screen. They set the tone for what the audience will experience and add a strong sense of authenticity to the overall message. For these reasons, I personally believe that the look of every interview is very important. The lighting on the subject and the background elements within the frame are a critical part of the storytelling process. Here are a few screen grabs of some recent interviews I’ve composed.
